I can't tell if the game is up for Abercrombie and Fitch, or whether this flap over their catalog will blow over and they will continue to successfully operate under the radar screen.

I know the Christians are hopping mad at them, and were heavily involved in the push that caused A&F to remove the "back to nature" catalog from its stores. But then, there was also the "kid's thong" controversy last year; the minority hiring lawsuit before that; and, of course, the racist Asian t-shirt scandal....

(Maybe the reason they keep landing on their feet is because, for all the friends they lack on Main Street, they make up for it with fans on Wall Street.)
