I would write to NYT to ask them about the results of the monstrous Falluja genocide but I have sent them so many nasty letters mentioning Greg Palast's Faluja Arithmatic.

Do you think that the photos of the bodies of dead soldiers were faked by the site on 7th Fire. Sorry I don't have the exact page.

I had read on InfoWars about the badly burned bodies of American soldiers being dumped wrapped in MADE IN USA garbage bags, at night, by US heliocopters seen by Iraqi fishermen and the bodies were caught in the fishermen's nets according to the InfoWars quoting of an Arab TV station. I could not stand to click on the film of the corpses but the article quoted the TV station as saying that the corpses had white skin where they were not burned, were taller than the average Iraqi and had better dental care.

If so, why haven't some of the Blogs picked up the story, I could not find the InfoWars page again but have trouble navigating the more complex sites.

Your photos and comments on the US Soldiers participation in placing posters and passing out leaflets and the sophistacated nature of the "strongman" bush puppet candidate were very good. Feel so helpless to do anything. Write and email constantly to my supposedly Democratic Representatives and they go on voting for the bushco warmongering, SS torture agenda.

I was at the rally in DC on Jan 6 to support Senators and Reps who refused to certify this fraudulent election. Was devastated when only Senator was Boxer but grateful to her and disappointed in the turnout and said so on The Smirking Chimp. Later in the day people admitted to being afraid of being photographed by the FBI and later sent to Gitmo.

The Roman act of crucifixian and leaving the bodies up was that kind of state terroism. How can we stop bush if our votes mean nothing said one of the devestated speakers at the rally. It's like Catch-22. I hope the world will get involved now that bush is planning to attack not only Iran but 10 other countries.

Keep speaking the truth. The England Inauguration protest photos showed children with candles holding a prayer vigil.

JOIN THE REAL BOXER REBELLION AT:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BoxerRebellion/message/34

We need everyone to hit all their personal favorite websites and blogs to recruit fellow Boxer supporters to this group and the group blog. Talk about all the good work Sen Boxer is doing right now, and leave the links to both the group and the blog.

Sen. Boxer is carrying the majority of the burden of putting up resistance to Dubya and the neo-con. Point that fact out, and rally
support for Sen. Boxer.

There is a right wing site, not a YAHOO GROUP with similar name trying to RECALL BOXER as they did illegally to Davis to install Arnold in California. There is more information on the above yahoo group for Sen. Boxer about the neo-con legal attempts to have her recalled. SHOW YOUR GRATITUTE FOR HER STANDING ALONE DURING THE NO CERTIFICATION FOR BUSH VOTER FRAUD and for Sen. Boxer’s grilling of Condi’s lies which is also printed on this site. Scroll down to see how Boxer really exposes Condi’s lies and her blasé attitude to the US soldiers and Iraqis that were murdered because of Bush Regimes WMD lies which they are now trying to brush aside as “frivolous”.

TORTURE and Accountability of those who ordered it is “frivolous”, the indirect murder of our soldiers because of lack of armor and other basics is “frivolous” Stealing the votes of the American people is “frivolous” PROTESTING GENOCIDE, THE STEALING OF TWO ELECTIONS IN A ROW AND TAKING OUR CIVIL RIGHTS IS FRIVOLOUS??!!!

There are only about 30 members for the above pro-Boxer group and if the people who wrote thousands and tens of thousands of letters trying to stop the war, trying to get coverage of the massive “Election Fraud”, trying to get Congresspersons to refuse to certify this stolen election, those who do not want Gonzales or torture and human experimentation as a policy of the United States of Skull and Bones better start doing something.

If you can’t even show Sen. Boxer how grateful you are for her stand against the Bush thugs then don’t complain when other Senators seeing that the Liberals and those with some humanity left to protest on these sites can’t be bothered to show support of Barbara Boxer by going to her site. Why should other Congresspersons put their careers, their lives and the lives of their families on the line for you and your family if you don’t care enough to support her by doing this small thing, signing up with her group to find out what she is up against and it is not only the Hate Jocks calling for a recall and to oust her from the Senate but there is already a legal process started.

Please get involved. Stop being Kitty Genovese neighbors and do SOMETHING!

Mr. Shaw;

The "promised miracle of Fallujah"? What is that? Could you provide a cite? Given the lack of news stories about it, I think we can presume that it's not going terribly. After all, it's openly admitted that good news from Iraq isn't reported.

Ms. Moricle;

Let me say that I'm quite grateful for the work Senator Boxer is doing as well. Hopefully she can do something about all of those crucifixions – if it hadn't been so cold the smell would have ruined the Inauguration. I certainly won't be going to DC in the summer!

P.S. "Made in USA" garbage bags? I find that part of your tale a tad difficult to believe, with all of the outsourcing going on.

P.P.S. JSLC, this should provide some context for the post you mentioned earlier.

Yah, Limbaugh/Hannity/O'Reilly are just beside themselves having to compete with the falsified horror stories pouring out of Iraq, while they steadfastly blame Clinton and the 'libgressive media' for not force feeding the masses ALL THE POSITIVE stories which the forces of darkness are restricting the world from seeing. As if THEY are offering any 'feel good' stories; as if any actually exist. I suppose it makes supporters of the war feel better to know that schools are slowly being built, even though few parents feel secure in sending their kids out into the neighborhood shooting gallery to try and attend one. The whole planet would be thrilled to hear about the 'progress' and 'liberty' so highly touted by the White House/Pentagon; unfortunately, there isn't enough of such stories to fill a 5 minute news brief; but never fear......because freedom's on the march.

AOG:
While trying to give some credence to alternative viewpoints to my own (and occasionally succumbing), when I read a statement like, "Given the lack of news stories about it (it being the leveling of Fallujah (- not an overreaction I would hope you would agree)), I think we can presume that it's not going terribly", I find it hard to not view as an intentionally delusional statement. The leveling of an entire city (an ancient and holy one at that - not to mention the casualties on both sides)under no circumstances is something which can 'go well' as that statement implies.

Courteous and well-informed debate must begin with some common ground. May I suppose that a mutual recognition of the value of our lives and family (our homes being the concrete centerpiece of this) must be a fundamental value we all cherish and would mourn the loss of? Or does an ideology and party loyality surpass this? If that is the case any debate is lost to brutality and can only be followed with bloodshed and ultimately tragedy for EVERYONE involved.

somehow, comments got cut off. oop.

anyway, as i was saying, as the author of the post you mentioned, I didn't admit that good news from Iraq not getting reported. I admitted that the news out of Iraq is mostly bad, but I think there's a reason for that.

Mr. Rose;

I won't rehash that here. I recommend that anyone interested read the post and the commentary for themselves.

Mr. Crane;

No, I would say that claiming Fallujah was ‘leveled’ is an ‘intentionally delusion statement’. According to reports about 200 builings were destroyed. A quick look at a satellite image shows that Fallujah had far more than 200 buildings. I'd guess, based on the photo, about 10,000 to 20,000 buildings. Based on historical standards (say, Stalingrad, or Aachen, or Hama, or Grozny, or Dresden, or Tokyo) the damage was light. I'd be interested to see on what basis you think Fallujah was leveled, other than buildings were destroyed. Moreover, we were not discussing the assault on Fallujah, but its aftermath.

I find it telling that even when I use mild language such as "not going terribly", this is considered "delusional" and provokes a sputtering reaction from jr (amid calls for "civility"). And of course, that statement is re-interpreted as "going well" (I suppose no thread is complete without that). Perhaps I use language differently, but I've never considered those two statements equivalents. I won't do more than mention the competely unconnected to reality claim of "genocide" that demonstrates who's really making stuff up here.

However, I do agree with Mr. Crane that we should recognize the value of life. That is why I support the Coalition effort against the caliphascists. If they were not committing heinous acts of death across parts of country, Iraq would be much further on its way to recovering from the war and far fewer people would be dead. If you value life, I think you should oppose people who are causing death, not those trying to protect life.

Oh yeah... Isn't that the medium-sized city we laid waste to a month and a half ago so that its residents would be able to vote?

Tomorrow's the big day! Hooray, Fallujah!
