The eagle's wings on the seal behind the Codpiece-in-Chief seem to protrude from his head, much as his ears are represented by some cartoonists/caricaturists. If he would only turn toward the camera sliiiiightly more....there! Perfect!

That one dosen't look like a halo to me, it looks like a space-suit helmet. A bubble.

Listening to George Bush today and reviewing 60 years of militarism under the aegis of The Department of Defence, I suggest a return to calling it The US Department Of War.

Here is another halo shot - http://ak.imgfarm.com/images/ap/Bush.sff_WHGH117_20080319122858.jpg interestingly it is either reverse printed or taken from the other side. But as in the shot in the post, Bush suffers by comparison with the original hagiographic Halo Shot from the beginning of his lovely war.
In this link that I post here Bush appears to be swimming a bit in an ill fitting suit. Coupled with the halo, he looks like a man wearing the garb but the namtel doesn't fit. Or worse like has been wasting away.

It's not a flattering shot at all. It shows an exhausted President Bush who is unable to get away from the DOD.

The Department of War Powers = Rationalization for the persistence of a Unitary Executive.

OK, he has a halo. He also has a petulant, pursed little mouth. And dull eyes, even in profile. Halo don't make it.

Lot of downward motion in that shot. Departments sliding down the left, defense sliding down the right. Eyes down, head down, both to the front. Maybe the wings of the defense eagle can hold him aloft?
On the bottom right though, America seems to have snuck out from under him and the arrow suggests that it is about to rise. Thank god it is below his notice.

More like a face pasted to a dartboard.

As soon as the powers shift far enough away from the NeoCons and the truth about this whole presidency emerges - that Bush allowed or covertly arranged 9/11 to pursue an agenda of domination to secure the bulk of what's left of the world's oil - history will look back on pictures like this in amazement. How can this, the leader of this insane and criminal attempt enterprise, be wearing a business suit in front of a government insignia - instead of wearing an orange jumpsuit in the courtroom on trial?
